Dear Evan Hansen wins a Grammy

The Broadway smash hit Dear Evan Hansen has won a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

Dear Evan Hansen was up against fellow Broadway shows Come From Away and Hello, Dolly! for the award at the January 28 ceremony.

The ceremony also saw the original star of Dear Evan Hansen, Ben Platt, perform a Salute To Broadway alongside fellow Broadway gem, Patti LuPone.
